Set up, configure and troubleshoot a Standard 4 or Starlink Mini dish
These pages cover the Starlink hardware most people have on a roof or in a bag right now: the Standard 4 and Standard 4 X dish, and the portable Starlink Mini and Mini X. The routers that ship with those kits, the Router 3 and the Router Mini, are covered alongside them.
Starlink renamed its kits, and the old names still turn up everywhere. What customers called Gen 3 is now Standard 4. The kit that used to be sold as the plain Starlink Standard Kit is now Standard 4 X. If you are not sure which one is yours, start at Identify your hardware.
Anything built for a different generation is deliberately left out. There is nothing here for the round Gen 1 dish, the rectangular Gen 2, the Performance and Enterprise kits, the Standard Actuated kit with its built-in motor, or the newer V5 dish. Those kits have different cables, different power budgets and different setup steps, and mixing them into one page is how people end up following the wrong instructions.
The material is condensed from the Starlink Help Center. Starlink changes firmware, app screens and product names often, so treat the app itself as the final word and use these pages to know what to look for.
