What you see the first time you open the panel, and how router credentials work for the session.

Overview

The first time you open Nasnet Panel it plays a short brand splash and then lands on the Routers page. There is no panel account to create and no login screen: the panel has no users of its own. Everything it does is done as a RouterOS user on the router you are working with, so the only credentials that matter are the ones for the router itself.

The Routers page is the home screen. It lists every router you have added as a card, polls each one for status every few seconds, and offers a New Router tile that starts a network scan.

Before you start

  • The panel is installed and reachable in a browser. See Installation.
  • The RouterOS username and password for each router you want to manage.
  • The panel must be able to reach the router’s address on the LAN.

Steps

  1. Open the panel’s address in a browser. On an empty install the subtitle reads “No routers yet. Start by scanning the network or adding one manually.”
  2. Click the New Router tile to start a scan, or follow Adding a router to type an address in by hand.
  3. Once a router is on the list, click its card. A “Connecting to…” overlay appears while the panel establishes the session, then the router opens.
  4. If the panel does not already hold credentials for that router in this browser session, a Connect to … dialog asks for Username and Password. Fill them in and press Connect.
  5. On a router that has never been configured through the panel, you are sent straight to the Easy Config wizard and the section tab bar stays hidden until the wizard finishes.

Troubleshooting

A “Connect to …” dialog appears every time you open a router. Credentials are held per browser session, not stored on the server. Reopening the panel in a new session asks again.

A router card is on the list but will not open. The panel verifies the address is reachable and looks like a MikroTik device before connecting. Check that the router is powered on and that nothing on the path blocks the API port.
