Overview
The Setup mode card is the first step of Easy Config. It asks how your WAN is wired, and the answer reshapes the rest of the wizard. Hovering an option animates a traffic-flow diagram on the right so you can see how packets would travel before you commit.
Pick Dual-Link if the router has a Starlink uplink and a second domestic uplink. Pick Starlink-Only if Starlink is the only way out.
Before you start
- Know which uplinks are physically connected to the router.
- Note that Starlink-Only removes the VPN Server step from the wizard.
Steps
- Select Dual-Link or Starlink-Only.
- Watch the flow diagram to confirm the shape matches your setup.
- Press Next.
Reference
| Option | What it means | Effect on the wizard |
|---|---|---|
| Dual-Link | Starlink plus a domestic uplink (DHCP, Static or PPPoE). | All five steps are shown. |
| Starlink-Only | Only a Starlink uplink for this router. | The VPN Server step is skipped and the inbound VPN server is left off. |
Troubleshooting
