Easy mode vs Advanced mode
The first question decides how many questions follow, and this page sets out exactly what changes.

Overview
Setup Mode is the very first question the wizard asks, and it is the most consequential one. It does not just change the wording of later screens, because it changes which screens exist. Easy Mode hides whole steps and fills their values in with defaults; Advanced Mode shows them and makes you decide. You can switch modes later from the toggle in the main stepper, and the step list rebuilds itself immediately.
Before you start
- Easy Mode is described in the app as “Simplified setup with basic options. Perfect for beginners and standard home network configurations.”
- Advanced Mode is described as “Full-featured multi-WAN configuration wizard. Perfect for complex network setups with multiple internet connections.”
- Nothing is lost by starting in Easy Mode. If you later find you need a hidden step, switch to Advanced and it appears.
Steps
- On the Choose step, the first sub-step is Setup Mode.
- Pick Easy Mode or Advanced Mode.
- Watch the stepper across the top of the page. In Easy Mode it has four steps, in Advanced Mode it has five.

In a foreign-link-only setup, Easy Mode creates only the Foreign network, and
places the VPN network at 192.168.10.0/24 instead.
