Setup Mode
Pick Easy Mode or Advanced Mode, the choice that decides how many questions follow.

Overview
The screen is titled Choose Your Setup Mode, with the subtitle “Select the setup mode that best fits your needs and experience level”. Two cards sit side by side. Whichever you pick becomes the mode for the whole wizard, and the step list rebuilds around it immediately, because Easy Mode drops several sub-steps and the entire Extra Config step, filling their values in with defaults behind the scenes.
You are not locked in. A mode toggle stays visible in the main stepper, and switching mode at any point re-generates the step list.
Before you start
- If this is your first configuration and you have one link on each side, Easy Mode will get you a working script faster.
- Choose Advanced Mode if you need more than one link per side, custom subnets, network tunnels, per-interface bridge assignment, or control over RouterOS service ports.
Steps
- Read both cards.
- Click the card you want. Selecting it completes the sub-step and moves you on to WAN Link Type.
