Overview

Nasnet Connect is a hosted web app, not something you install, so there is no version for you to upgrade. connect.starlink4iran.com always serves the current build, so reloading the page gives you the latest wizard, including any new router models and any fixes to the generated configuration.

That is convenient, and it has one consequence worth knowing: a config you generated months ago is not the config the wizard would generate today.

What that means in practice

• Keep the .rsc file you actually applied. It is the only record of what is on your router. The wizard does not remember your answers and cannot regenerate an old configuration.
• Regenerating is a full replacement, not an update. If you come back to add a feature, you are producing a new complete configuration, so back up the router and treat it like a first install.
• Router models are added over time. If yours was missing before, check the Router Model step again rather than assuming it still is.

Where changes are recorded

The project’s commit history on GitHub is the authoritative log of what changed and when. Tagged releases, listed below when they exist, mark points the maintainers considered worth naming.
