## Overview

Both accessories here replace the 15 m power cable and power supply that ship
with the Starlink Mini, so the Mini can run from a USB-C supply or a vehicle
socket instead of a wall outlet.

Neither cable is a general-purpose USB-C cable. They are built to power a
Starlink Mini and nothing else, and they will not charge a phone or run a
Router 3.

## Mini USB-C cable

A 5 m (16.4 ft) cable that powers the Mini from a USB-C supply.

| Weather rating | The barrel-jack end makes an IP67 connection to the Mini. **The USB-C end is not for outdoor use** |

**LED**

| Light | Meaning |
| ----- | ------- |
| Red | Too hot. It recovers on its own once it cools and the light goes out |
| No light | Normal, when connected to a compatible source |

## Mini car adapter

Powers the Mini from a standard 12 to 24 V automotive auxiliary socket, the one
most people call the cigarette lighter. Currently sold in select markets only.

**LED on the adapter**

| Light | Meaning |
| ----- | ------- |
| Soft blinking | Idle. Powered and ready |
| Solid | Powering the Mini |

The cable's own LED behaves the same as the USB-C cable above: red means too
hot, no light is normal.
