## Overview

**Users** is the list of people known to the panel, as distinct from the
subscriptions they hold and the Xray accounts those subscriptions own. A user
carries identity and status, meaning the admin flag, the banned flag and any
linked Telegram identity, while entitlement lives on the [Subscriptions](/en/guides/nasnet-linux/subscriptions/)
page. Come here to find a person, check whether they currently have access, or
cut them off.

## Before you start

- Users appear here however they arrived: created in the panel, or registered
  through the Telegram bot.
- Banning a user is an identity-level action. To stop one specific
  entitlement instead, suspend that subscription.

## Steps

1. Open **Users** from the sidebar.
2. Search by name with the search box, or narrow the list with the **Filter**
   dropdown.
3. Change the ordering with the **Sort** dropdown when you are scanning rather
   than searching.
4. Click a user to open their detail page.
5. Use the auto-refresh menu if you are watching the list live; otherwise
refresh on demand from the header.
